Anicira to Host Open House & Adoptable Art Show

HARRISONBURG, Virginia (March 20, 2017) – Local art classes are going to the dogs – all to benefit Anicira Veterinary Center.

Art students from Montevideo Middle School, East Rockingham High School, Peak View Elementary School, and others are working hard to create art of Anicira’s past and present adoptable dogs.

On April 8 between 11 am and 2 pm, Anicira will hold an Open House for tours of its new facility and to showcase the art. Many of the pieces will be available for purchase to benefit Anicira’s life-saving programs. Adoptable dogs will also be onsite looking for their forever homes.

Anicira, a 501(c)(3) organization now in its 11th year, is committed to ending unnecessary euthanasia of cats and dogs.  Anicira seeks to help cats and dogs in the community stay healthy and in their homes. Its team helps families care for their pets by making veterinary care affordable. Anicira also helps reduce the number of dogs entering shelters through a foster-based adoption program.
